1999 Chassagne Montrachet Les Vergers

Pale, green-tinged color. Sulfidey aromas of honey, earth, brown butter, marzipan and oak spice. Fat, silky and ripe, with moderate complexity but very good texture and balance. Ripe acids are well-integrated. Finishes with a slight dry edge.
