(bottled at the end of March) Medium bright yellow. Sexy aromas of yellow peach and hazelnut. Superripe and sweet, with flavors of apricot, peach and buttery pastry. Not particularly complex but thick and approachable. Finishes with a distinctly sweet quality.
Really very fine indeed on the nose with a sort of chalky texture and some really juicy fruit too well mingled with its satin texture. It slips over the palate so easily you could drink this quite young, I think. Something floral here and already quite complex on the finish. (JR)
