Tasting notes
A complex and expressive nose is again ever so slightly atypical with aromasof straw, apple, peach and pear that merge into rich, full and generous flavors that possess the same level of mid-palate fatbut with a bit more dry extract on the mineral-infused but less intense and persistent finish. Very good rather than excellent.2011+

Yellow peach and nutty oak on the musky nose. Sweet, fat and ripe; in fact, almost too easygoing today. The oily peach fruit is quite silky and expressive, particularly in comparison to the stricter Champs Canet. This is almost creamy in texture. These vines are 15 years old.
Cask sample. Slightly dumb nose but very impressively ethereal palate. Delicate. Well done and good freshness. Good length. (JR)
(just finished its malo) Tight on the nose. Then suave on entry, and silky and thick in the middle. Today, this comes across as a bit aggressive and tricky to taste. Does it have enough verve?
