Score 87-90/100 · Allen Meadows, Burghound
Rich, earthy black fruits with big and dense flavors but this lacks the same power and overall balance and complexity of the Grèves. To be sure, this is a very good wine but compared to the sheer class of the Grèves, this may suffer somewhat by comparison. There is good structure here and a slight touch of warmth on the long finish. Allen Meadows, Burghound Apr01,2002
