First bottle a bit grubby. Second bottle: Mid crimson frank lively nose with lovely smooth dancing texture. No heaviness but definite sweet fruit. Polished and racy. Very accomplished and really Morey Grand Cru borders quality. Great balance and pleasure already. Long. In silky dancing mode of burgundy. Lovely refreshing finish. Should develop more complexity so I may be urging you to drink it too soon. (JR)

Good full red. High-pitched aromas of red cherry, raspberry and spicy oak. Ripe but backward and dry, even a bit withdrawn today. Has volume but remains light on its feet. This will need a good six or seven years of patience.
Good deep red. Aromas of raspberry, game and coconutty oak. Plump in the middle, with a strong element of exotic oak. The oak tannins dry the fruit somewhat on the finish. From a second barrel: Raspberry and light coconut aromas. Sweeter and suppler in the mouth, with flavors of raspberry and smoky oak. Here the tannins are dusty but considerably broader.
