Score 92/100 · Drink 2003-2008, Robert Parker, Apr 2003

Mouton's 2000 Aile d'Argent, a blend of 65% Sauvignon Blanc, 34% Semillon, and 1% Muscadelle, is the best vintage I have tasted of their white wine. It exhibits notes of white flowers intermixed with honeysuckle, Mandarin oranges, citrus, and smoke in a medium-bodied, intensely fragrant, concentrated, lush style. I would opt for drinking it during its first 4-5 years of life. It is certainly a worthy challenger to the Medoc's finest dry white wine, the Pavillon Blanc du Chateau Margaux.
