Good medium red. Musky aromas of cherry, raspberry and minerals; quintessential Chambolle on the nose. Then supple, sweet and nicely concentrated, with sappy red fruit and mineral flavors complemented by some sweet oak. A step up in texture over the village wine. The yield here did not surpass 40 hectoliters per hectare, said Barthod. This has the balance to give early pleasure.
