Saturated red-ruby. Sappy, delineated aromas of black cherry, rose petal and licorice. Sweet, dense, layered and deep; superb fruit framed by a rather powerful tannic spine. Very persistent finishing flavors of spicy dark berries supported by strong but fine tannins.
