Score 87/100 · Drink 1993-2000, Robert Parker, Feb 1993
This excellent Pauillac cru bourgeois has turned in a strong effort in 1989. It is deep ruby/purple, with a fine nose of smoky new oak followed by copious quantities of cassis fruit. The low acid finish is fat and mouthfilling. Drink it over the next 5-7 years.
