Tasting notes
(bottled in April of 2004; the rest of these 2002s were bottled in September) Good red-ruby. Musky, slightly rustic aromas of redcurrant and raspberry. Sweet, musky and sappy fruit flavors show good concentration and texture. Finishes with sweet tannins. This has turned out well.

Bacon-laced red fruits are found in the aromatic profile of the 2002 Chambolle-Musigny. Medium-bodied and suave, its seductive personality bastes the taster’s mouth with plush, well-ripened red fruits. While it may not be particularly complex, its charms are not to be missed. Drink it over the next 4-5 years. Importer: Neal Rosenthal Wine Merchant, New York, NY; tel. (800) 910-1990
Good deep red with ruby highlights. Raspberry and earth on the nose and palate. Juicy and fresh, with good purity of flavor and modest flesh. Finishes with a note of caramel and a touch of dryness.
