Tasting notes
Tis is a big boy - bitter with black fruit and cocoa. Concentrated and tannic but there is real promise in the finish which is all dark chocolate and plums and with good lift at the end.

This Petit Village is less impressive than the 2009 which was one of their best vintages in the past 10 years. The 2010 exhibits inviting flavours of fibrant blackberries and plums with rich, generous rounded tannins. Fairly long finish. This is a wine that will have a wide drinking window given its ripe, accessible flavours. Petit Village is always a good value Pomerol sold for under 30 Euros. asianpalate.com
Petit Village Produced from 73% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Cabernet Franc, this medium bodied, soft textured Pomerol offers light cherry, plum, coca powder and licorice. winecellarinsider.com
Crushed plum, raspberry and cassis flavors glide along silky, refined tannins, with a suave finish that has a polished edge. James Molesworth, winespectator.com
