Medium red. Musky redcurrant and tobacco on the nose; a bit reduced. Fat, supple and broad, with a silky texture and some intriguing soil-driven saline and earthy components. The fullest and the longest of these 2004s, at once more deeply pitched and more closed than the Damodes. This was reduced in barrel too.

Medium red. Very reduced nose. Silky and pliant; sweet but not overly so. Difficult to assess today but the densest of these 2004s, and very long on the aftertaste.
