Score 16/20 · FINE+RARE

One of the more complex wines from this vintage. Layers of minerality, caramelised apples, white pepper, ginger and toasted brioche. Full bodied, yet the acidity helps to create balance. Brown sugar lingers on the palate resulting in a finish which is a bit too sweet. FINE+RARE

Tasted blind. Intriguing notes of chocolate with a hint of prunes on the nose. Very big and sweet with some stewed plums too. (JR)

Tasted blind. Lightly nutty nose with sheen and excitement. Very polished without that much sweetness. A little structure on the end. Quite flirtatious. (JR)
