The 2007 Sangiovese Cellar Reserve is dark ruby-colored with an alluring bouquet featuring chocolate covered cherries. Layered on the palate with substantial power, this nicely rendered, unique Sangiovese will blossom over the next several years and have a drinking window extending from 2012 to 2022. Penfolds produces a bevy of excellent value-priced wines, many of which were reviewed in Issue 178. Importer: Southcorp Wines USA; www.penfolds.com.au
