Score 87-89/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Mar 2006
Moderately saturated medium red. Red berries, smoke and tobacco on the nose. Silky-sweet but a bit youthfully tight, with harmonious acidity giving it good cut and balance. Finishes with fine tannins and good length.
