Tasting notes
More floral fragrance than the Pézerolles Pommard by Dom A F Gros, but just as much tannin and firmness. Lingering finish. (RH)

A toasty nose primarily displays notes of reduction though it seems reasonably clear that the underlying fruit is ripe. There is excellent size, weight and focused power to the impressively well-concentrated middle weight flavors that enjoy a lavish amount of palate coating dry extract that helps to buffer the firm but fine tannins on the balanced finish where a hint of mocha appears.
