(sauvignon blanc) Pineapple and grapefruit aromas complicated by leesy notes of hazelnut and smoke. Fat, rich and ripe, even a bit soft, but given shape by solid underlying minerality. A big, mouthfilling wine with a nutty, suave aftertaste. Seemed to grow in size and intensity as it opened in the glass.
