Score 88/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous

More minerally aromas of gunflint and snap pea. Sweet, full and on the soft side, yet manages to hold its shape. Ultimately seems a bit less deep and expressive than the '99, despite the additional year of bottle age. But finishes with sneaky length.
