Score 85/100 · Drink 2009-2013, Robert Parker, Feb 2009

This is a pleasant, medium-bodied wine with lots of herbs, sweet currant and cherry fruit. Medium-bodied in an attractive, straightforward style, it needs to be drunk over the next 3-4 years.

Slightly dull look. Odd, not quite pure, smudgy nose. Acidity is very obvious. Jagged. (JR)

Dark crimson. Full, rich, sumptuous nose and then savoury palate expression. Racy and appetising. The tannins are dry but very fine. This is good! Not the most intense perhaps, and not the most persistent but nicely balanced. (JR)

Offers plum and berry character, with hints of citrus fruit and cedar. Medium-bodied, with good quality tannins for the vintage. The finish is focused, though this is a little austere in the end. Best after 2011. 4,250 cases made. –James Suckling, Wines Spectator 2009
