Tasting notes
This has been a well-made offering over recent vintages, displaying a masculine, nearly rustic style. The dense ruby/purple-colored 2002 reveals solidly constructed, hard flavors with plenty of tannin as well as extract and richness. It has not yet come together, but when it does, it will be an excellent St.-Emilion with 12-15 years of longevity.

Dull crimson. Not much nose. Lacklustre. Chewy finish and a lack of definition. (JR)
