Tasting notes
Score 92/100 · Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Mar 2007

Domaine de la Romanée-Conti’s 1995 Grands-Echézeaux followed. It was delicate, soft-textured yet intensely spiced, as well as more generous in its expression than the somewhat compact, dried out 1995 Méo-Camuzet Vosne-Romanée Aux Brulées that was served alongside it.

Score 92/100 · Drink 2003-2012, Pierre Rovani, Aug 1998

This wine is austere, masculine, backward and a dense. It offers superb black fruit flavors and a firm tannic backbone. Drink it between 2003 and 2012+. Importer: Wilson-Daniels, St. Helena, CA; tel. (707) 963-9661.
