Score 93/100 · Robert Parker, Apr 2009

The 2007 St.-Peray exhibits a gorgeous perfume of white currants, quince, honeyed melons, and wet stones. Made in a decidedly grand cru Chablis-like style, this 100% Marsanne boasts brilliant clarity, focus, and freshness in spite of its substantial concentration and length. This stunning 2007 white can be enjoyed over the next several years. This joint project of the brilliant restaurateur family in Valence, the Pic family, and Michel Chapoutier has resulted in one of the two or three finest wines ever made in St.-Peray.
