Medium red. Perfumed aromas of red berries and minerals. Silky and aromatic in the mouth, with a juicy intensity and the energy of the vintage's better examples. Finishes quite subtle and perfumed, with a late note of bitter chocolate. Tannins are light but slightly drying. This wine seemed to put on weight in the open bottle.

Bright medium red. Pure, vibrant aromas of red berries, minerals and flowers. Supple but minerally and precise, with lovely red berry flavors framed by juicy acids. Very nicely balanced, stylish wine with considerable delicacy. Finishes ripely tannic and very long. Am I underrating this?
