Score 91-93/100 · Allen Meadows, Burghound
Here the admirably pure nose is slightly more complex with a pleasingly nuanced nose of pear, sea breeze, white flowers and wet stone. There is excellent punch to the detailed, intense and palate drenching broad-shouldered flavors that culminate in an explosive, salty and dry finish that once again displays just a touch of austerity. There is a lush character to the mid-palate yet it remains very well-balanced. Tasted: Oct 15, 2013. Drink: 2018+
