0.394 acre inherited from the Robert Deléger estate yielded 920 bottles. Vines averaged 27 years. 25% new oak used . Orange tinge to the gold. Very sweet nose. Evolved and rich. Lacks real elegance. A bit heavy. Even slightly coarse. No lift. No Chevalier zip. A definite disappointment. (JR)

Pale straw. Sweet, broad, even rather formless on the nose initially. Very low key hint of liquorice, green mossy notes, quite interesting with lime/citrus and good silky texture. Very good acidity too. Quite powerful and classic. Limpid texture. A certain slight graininess. Even a little astringent on the finish. It definitely improved in the glass. Should repay cellaring. Very little nose. Dull and low key at the moment. Just too restrained and cautious. (JR)
