(not owned by Bouchard, and from a later picking) Full red-ruby. Red fruits and cocoa powder on the aromatic but slightly roasted nose. Sweet and very ripe, with the roasted character carrying through in the mouth. The first of these 2003s to show a real impression of alcohol. Finishes with a suggestion of gingerbread. Perhaps an awkward showing; Hervet and Prost like this more than I do.
