Tasting notes
Light to medium ruby-colored and sporting a boisterous nose of spiced cherries, the 2002 Vosne-Romanee Les Suchots is ample and plush. Sensual, edge-free, and creamy its soft personality regales the palate with jammy red cherry, spice, and oak flavors. Importers: Daniel Johnnes/Jeroboam Wines, New York, NY; tel. Dullish red. Plum, mocha and underbrush on the rather advanced nose. Light, supple and on the simple side, with a lightly peppery quality and somewhat evolved flavors. Finishes a tad dry. Not a good showing for this wine.
