Good vitality. Fresh and racy and really very honest, polished fruit. High energy wine. Lots of fine, good-quality tannin underneath. Long. Perhaps very slightly volatile. (JR)

An elegant, mid-weight effort, the 2004 Tronquoy Lalande exhibits a dark ruby color, sweet cherry and currant fruit, medium body, an herbal/earthy component, and a moderately long finish. Consume it over the next 7-10 years.

Rather raw black fruits on the nose. Then sweetness on the front palate and overall a bit thin. Very dry oak tannins. (JR)
