Score 88/100 · Drink 2001-2006, Robert Parker, Aug 2001
The soft, opulently-styled 1998 Les Terrasses offers a deep dense ruby color as well as abundant quantities of blackberry and cherry fruit, subtle wood, a lush, juicy texture, and low acidity. This is a negociant offering from Palacios made to satisfy the immense demand for his wines. Drink it over the next 2-5 years. Importer: The Rare Wine Co., Sonoma, CA; tel. (707) 996-4484

Bright red-ruby. Dried fruits, iron, smoke and roasted herbs on the nose. Dry-edged flavors of roasted berries and coffee; grew sweeter with air but finishes with rather drying tannins. Substantial wine, but no longer the value it once was.
