Score 84-86/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous
Light medium red. Pretty, perfumed aromas of cherry, raspberry, coffee and smoke. Sweet and smoky in the mouth, but the cherry fruit could use a bit more flesh to buffer its edge of acidity. Harder but also fresher than a village wine that preceded it.
