Dark crimson. Sweet and a bit tarted up on the nose. Spicy. Certainly intense but not desperately natural. Lots of fruit and acidity. Rather rasping tannins. (JR)

Good deep red. Sexy aromas of musky strawberry, raspberry and earth. Supple and sweet, with good lift to the red berry, spice and mineral flavors. Turns drier and more serious on the back end, finishing with an intriguing saline quality. More closed than the basic Fixin, this will probably need two or three years of bottle aging.
