Palish medium red. Quickly evolving aromas of cinnamon, mocha and underbrush; less primary than the Poisets. Plump, sweet and ready to drink, with accessible red fruit flavors and modest verve. Shows the same slightly dry edge I found in a barrel sample a year ago.

Dry, yet fruity (while Géantet-Pansiot's Chambolle-Musigny is sweet and fruity). Rich texture. Well handled. (JR)

Medium-deep red. Deep aromas of currant, cherry and spices. Sweet, dense and full; a solid Nuits with good weight and backbone. The building tannins are slightly tough today. This has good supporting fat but I find it drier today than the Poisets.
