Tasting notes
The top five Pomerols from J.P Mouiex (Certan d May, Providence, Hosanna, La Fleur Petrus and Trotanoy) are absolutely terrific in 2011. Hosanna is the most reticient with a raspberry leafy nose but the middle is full of gobs of fresh, sappy fruit. Seamless from middle to end. Really bright.

Sweet perfumed velvety wine with supple tannins and fairly long finish. Hosanna represents the success in Pomerol from the 2011 vintage - no over extraction, soft, elegant fruit with good depth. Not a big heavy style but reflective of the terroir and vintage. AsianPalate.com
Deep in color, chocolate, floral, black raspberry, cherry, oak and plum scents are easy to find. Plush, round textures, with layers of silky, velvety plum and cherry is made better by the wine’s freshness and length, which feel great on the palate. theWineCellarInsider.com
Aromas of citrus fruit such as red oranges and chocolate follow through to a full body, with lovely velvety tannins and a long finish. Extremely well done for the vintage. jamessuckling.com
About the producer

Château Hosanna is a relatively young wine label in Pomerol, but one with some of the richest heritage in the entire region. It couldn’t be better situated with Château Lafleur to the north, Vieux Château Certan to the south and flanked on either side by Pétrus and Château Lafleur-Pétrus.
