Tasting notes
Inky purple. Youthfully brooding aromas of cassis and cherry pit, with notes of tobacco and dark chocolate adding depth. Broad and fleshy but slow to open, eventually offering sweet dark berry and bitter chocolate flavors and late suggestions of black pepper and candied flowers.

Inky ruby. Exotically perfumed scents of fresh raspberry, cherry-vanilla, sassafras and violet. Seamless, sweet dark berry preserve flavors are impressively pure, with an energetic jolt of minerals adding nerve. A hint of sweet chewing tobacco creeps in on the focused, persistent finish.
Notably deep crimson. Gosh! Another strong statement! 'I'm riper than anyone'-type statement. Lush and ripe and polished, but with a very dry finish. (JR)
