Score 86/100 · Drink 2014-2020, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Nov 2014

Tasted blind at the Burgundy 2011 horizontal tasting in Beaune. The Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Caillerets 2011 has a very precise and succinct bouquet with plenty of minerality, though it is tightly coiled at the moment. The palate is precise on the entry with touches of fresh pear and stone, not powerful, but reserved and detailed with just a touch of heat coming through on the slightly bitter finish.
