Made by the owners of Ch Grand Village. First vintage of this wine. Lots of acidity – quite different from most. Still quite dry on the end. (JR)
A new product from selected parcels in Canon-Fronsac, Fronsac and the Bordeaux appellation. Selected parcels, sélection massale. They don’t want to be limited by the Fronsac AC. 60% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Franc, made at Ch Grand Village. Very very rich on the nose. Very thick and full and zesty. Some of Lafleur’s polish. Real raciness plus flesh. Label looks rather like Japanese calligraphy! (JR)
