Score 83/100 · Drink 2016-2019, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Oct 2016

Tasted at the de Myrat vertical at the property. The 1995 Château de Myrat has a simple bouquet: barley sugar, blackcurrant leaf and melted wax, not really vigorous, but at least there is some freshness here. The palate is medium-bodied with dried orange peel and quince on the entry, balanced but simple, some dryness creeping in towards the finish. Maybe I was hoping for more, though the best I could say is that this 1995 is just about keeping its head above water. Drink soon if you have any bottles. Tasted April 2016.
