Score 90/100 · Drink 2012-2020, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Jun 2007
The nose has more vitality than the 2005 and blossoms from the glass with raspberry, cranberry, pomegranate and a slight gaminess. The palate is full-bodied, concentrated, and quite tannic with the sous bois character dominating the finish. Moderate length, with cherry and wild strawberry lingering on the aftertaste. Despite the tannic structure, this is surprisingly approachable though I would cellar it for a few years. Drinking 2012-2020
