Ruby-red. Pure, vibrant aromas of blackberry, violet and minerals. Juicy, bright and penetrating in the mouth, with superb intensity and precision for the vintage. The dark fruit and mineral flavors are lifted by a floral element and joined by a licorice note on the aftertaste. High-pitched and very long on the back end, the firm, mounting tannins arriving quite late. Very impressive Marsannay.

Medium ruby. Restrained aromas of cherry, licorice and spices. Supple, rich and floral, with a musky, sweet-oaky element. Not showing as much personality today as the Boivin. Finishes with slightly drying tannins and a note of licorice.
