The 1966 Forts de Latour is a textbook Pauillac, which displays near perfectly proportioned scents of black currants, spices, leather, and cedar, ripe-yet-supple flavors, a long fruity texture and palate impression, and light tannins. It is now at its zenith. Drink up! Anticipated maturity: Now-may be in decline. Last tasted, 12/88.
