10–15% new oak. Broad but still youthful. Lots to chew on. Very vibrant. (JR)

Score 92/100 · Drink 2013-2018, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Oct 2011
The 2010 Block 2 Chardonnay is youthfully muted on the nose with delicate white peach and spiced apple slice aromas over crushed biscuits, cashews, meal and honeysuckle. With medium to full body, the palate is tightly-knit at this stage with a great concentration of spicy stone fruit flavors, balanced medium-high acid and slightly creamy texture. The finish is long and honey-nut laced with a citrusy character revealing itself at the very end. Tempting to drink now, it should be best 2013 to 2018+.
