Deep crimson, healthy look. Full-blown, rather appealing nose. Savoury and intriguing. Some sweetness, almost North Rhôneish in its sweetness-and-black-pepper appeal. Interesting. A good drink if not the most typical St-Emilion. Tannins still there. Slightly cool. (JR)
