Medium red. Minty high tones along with red fruits and chocolatey oak on the nose. Rich flavors of maraschino cherry, herbs and mint. A step up in acidity and freshness after the set of 2003s here, but this is simply in line with the very different character of these two vintages. Finishes with sweet tannins and good length.

Red-ruby. High-pitched aromas of cassis, violet and chocolatey oak. Sweet, supple black fruit and violet flavors firmed by an edge of acidity. Nicely fresh wine with moderate flesh and flavor development. Shows some drying oak tannins.
