Deep red-ruby. Very ripe but fresh aromas of redcurrant, minerals, tobacco and coffee. Sweet, supple and deep, with rich, musky flavors of dark berries, chocolate, mocha and espresso. Youthfully muscular, slowly unfolding wine, with good primary fruit character. Finishes with firm but fine tannins that will require at least five or six years of additional bottle aging.
About the producer

Le Dome
The man behind highly regarded Saint-Émilion wine Le Dôme is a Nigerian-born Brit who sold his engineering firm in 1992 to move to Cahors and restore a pile of ruins. After meeting a local vineyard owner at a dinner party, he ended up selling his production to Oddbins and was caught by the wine bug.
