Score 87-89/100 · Neal Martin

A blend of 52% Cabernet Sauvignon and 48% Merlot, this has a straightforward nose with ripe, red-berried fruit with touches of wild hedgerow and a little Saint Estephe-like tertiary character. The palate has pleasing weight on the entry, just a little austerity coming from the Cabernet Sauvignon, but nicely balanced with a find tobacco and graphite tinged finish. This is a commendable Deuxieme Vin from Lynch Moussas. Tasted March 2011. Neal Martin erobertparker.com
