Tasting notes
Score 94/100 · Drink 1994-2009, Robert Parker, Apr 1994

The 1989 Barolo Bussia is deeply-colored, with great concentration, as well as rich, expansive, sweet, super-concentrated flavors. It is a huge, well-endowed, glycerin-infused, giant Barolo that should drink well for 15 or more years. Prunotto, now owned by the Tuscan firm of Antinori, continues to turn out superlative examples of Piedmontese wines. Importer: a Leonardo Lo Cascio Selection, Winebow, Inc., HoHoKus, NJ.
