Score 90-92/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Sep 2007

Subtle aromas of lemon drop and flowers. Densely packed and tactile, with an oily thickness to the flavor of peach nectar; one can really taste the grapes here. A big, rich wine that manages to maintain finesse. Finishes with palate-staining persistence. These are awfully impressive for Auxey-Duresses.
