Score 89/100 · Drink 2015-2025, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Sep 2021

The 2009 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru En Remilly is drinking well today, bursting with aromas of golden orchard fruit, pineapple and pastry cream. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and generous, with a rich core of fruit, lively acids and a saline finish. It's a fine effort from this grower who retired after the 2015 vintage.

Masterful – such a lot packed in, but without any awkwardness or clumsiness. Definition of refinement: a smattering of oak alongside fresh apple, cream and spice. (RH)

(these vines are now 20 years old) Pure aromas of lemon and white flowers. Juicy, pure and sweet, with lovely lift to the flavors of lemon drop, citrus peel and flowers. Nicely dense and shapely wine with personality. These vines touch Chevalier-Montrachet on the Puligny side of this vineyard.
