Deep ruby-red. Cooler, slightly medicinal aromas of black cherry, dark berries and licorice. Sweet but precise, with lovely inner-mouth lift to the black cherry and mineral flavors. Finishes with very firm tannins and a peppery nuance. This should improve in bottle for six or eight years and last well.
