Tasting notes
Score 84/100 · Drink 1985, Robert Parker, Jan 1998

Quite similar to the 1979, yet showing a more perceptible amber/brown edge to it, the 1978 La Fleur Petrus has a supple, rich, fat, ripe Merlot fruitiness, medium to full body, and light, round tannins. Anticipated maturity: Now. Last tasted, 2/85.
